Hercules was killed when a bus left the roadway and hit him. The accident occured on a Monday on western highway near Belize City. The driver, Guadalupe Tzib, a 43 year old bus driver, told police that a bus veered into his path forcing him to leave the roadway and striking Hercules. To avoid being hit, reported Tzib, he swerved to the right but as he did he struck Hercules who was standing on the side of the road. Hercules received severe head and body trama and died on arrival at the hospitial. The police detained Tzib pending charges.
