Nevada Police Report Fatal Car Accident

The Nevada Highway Police reported vehicle accident that resulted in a fatality about 70 miles north of Winnemucca in Nevada on US Highway 95.

The auto accident occurred around 3:30 am. Details of the accident are limited at this time, they say.

The Nevada Police reports that a red pickup was involved in a rollover accident ejecting 3 people. Two of the occupants came to rest in the travel lanes.

Both occupants were hit by passing motorists after they were ejected. It is unknown at this time if the occupants died as a result of the crash, or the vehicle(s) that run over them.

The third accident victim was transported to the hospital in Winnemucca.
